“It’s good for Oklahomans, good for all Americans.”
It’s what Oklahoma Congressman Kevin Hern of Tulsa said Wednesday after President Trump signed the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement into law.
Rep. Hern (OK-01) proclaimed President Trump continues to prove that voters made the right choice in 2016.
“We elected President Trump to change the status quo, to challenge the way things have always been done and he is doing exactly that. The USMCA is an unprecedented reimagining of our trade relationship with our North American neighbors, bringing commerce into the 21st century and putting our countries on equal footing”
Hern said he had been an advocate for the USMCA since he stepped onto Capitol Hill.
“More than 176,000 jobs will be created as a result of this trade deal. It’s good for Oklahomans, good for all Americans! I applaud the President’s unrelenting work to find a solution here and celebrate this incredible day for the United States!”
