More than 40 wells reported completed by Chisholm Oil and Gas

Tulsa’s Chisholm Oil and Gas Operating LLC unloaded 42 completion reports in the past week with Oklahoma regulators.

Why the company waited to file the dozens of reports isn’t known. But Chisholm, a company whose website proclaims only three operational rigs turned out the wells in the STACK play.

The wells ranged in oil production from a high of 953 barrels a day to a low of 47. One well was completed in Blaine County. Three were completed in Garfield County. One was reported in Major County.

Chisholm completed six wells in Logan County. The most completions were in Kingfisher County, where the company  reported 31 separate wells.

Some of the wells had completion dates in 2018 while the remainder were in 2019. Last year, Chisholm merged with Gastar Exploration LLC of Houston, Texas and the merger resulted in net production of nearly 20,000 Boe a day and combined acreage position of nearly 165,000 net acres, most in Kingfisher County.

Not only does Chisholm have three rigs but a dedicated frac crew.
