Inhofe says Iran doesn’t have resources for all-out war

While millions wonder if Iran and the U.S. will actually engage in an all-out war, Oklahoma U.S. Sen. James Inhofe doesn’t think it will happen.

In an interview on Fox News, the Republican chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee explained Iran doesn’t have the resources for such a violent effort against U.S. forces.

“First of all, Iran’s been suffering from U.S. sanctions,” said the Senator who added that Tehran also faces hostility from the Iranian people.

Inhofe said President Trump was “very patient” in dealing with Iran’s previous attacks on tankers and the downing of a U.S. drone.

“But he did say this, if they kill an American, we’re coming after them.”

The Senator also said the President was justified in not alerting Congress about his plan to attack and kill Iranian Major General Soleimani.
