Historic 20,000 barrels a day oil production from 7 Continental Resources wells

A stunning series of completion reports filed by Continental Resources Inc. in Oklahoma’s STACK shows 7 wells from a single pad produced more than 20,000 barrels of oil a day!

The massive production came to light this week when the company filed completion reports on four more Reba Jo wells drilled at 13 15N 11W or about 7 miles southeast of Wagonga in Blaine County. It was the same site that the company previously filed completion reports on three other Reba Jo wells which, as OK Energy Today reported on Dec. 13, 2019, had combined production of 6,078 barrels of oil a day.

But the four additional wells have combined production of 14,305 barrels of oil a day, making for a hard-to-believe production of 20,383 barrels of oil a day coming out of the Mississippi Lime and a single site. Each of the new Reba Jo wells have high production that make them stand-out wells.

The four newest Reba Jo wells had spud dates in January and February 2019 with completions made in July and August. The largest well had production of 4,168 barrels of oil a day along with 11,889 Mcf of natural gas. Its depth was 21,347 feet according to the completion report.

The second largest well produced 3,615 barrels of oil a day and 10,409 Mcf of gas from a depth of 21,223 feet, according to its completion report. A third well produced 2,917 barrels of oil a day and 8,347 Mcf of natural gas. Its completion report showed the well had a depth of 21,490 feet. The fourth and final Reba Jo well had production of 2,605 barrels of oil a day and 7,764 Mcf of gas from a depth of 21,501 feet according to its completion report.

While the combined oil production was more than 20,000 barrels a day, the combined gas production from the seven wells was an astounding 56,334 Mcf of natural gas!
