7 more Hamm wells produced 16,000 barrels of oil a day in STACK

The latest completion reports filed by Harold Hamm’s Continental Resources confirms his Oklahoma City company located an area of the STACK that has resulted in massive oil production from more sister wells. There must have been a lot of back-slapping at Continental when the Blaine County wells were completed.

The company produced 7  more sister wells with combined production of more than 16,000 barrels of oil a day. Two of the Schulte Federal wells were drilled at 30 15N 10W while five others were just across the section line at 19 15N 10W which puts them at a site about 5 miles southeast of Watonga. The wells are adjacent to  13 15N 11W where Continental had 7 sister wells  drilled about the same time with combined production of more than 20,000 barrels of oil a day.

Do the math—the 14 wells in the immediate area southeast of Watgona are producing more than 36,000 barrels of oil a day along with 48,925 Mcf of natural gas!

Their drilling depths were 21,859 and 21,837 feet deep in the Mississippi Lime formation.
