Marathon Oil Company filed a completion report on a Kingfisher County well with production of more than 1,100 barrels of oil a day.
The Mike Stroud Bia 1509 7-8-33mxh well, located at 33 15N 9W or about 11 miles west of the city of Okarche had an August 2018 spud date. Drilling was finished in November of last year and the well had a March 20, 2019 completion date according to records filed with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
Oil production totaled 1,102 barrels a day along with 5,914 Mcf of natural gas. The driller used 19,390,239 pounds of proppant along with 241,678 barrels of fluid. Drilling depth was 20,449 feet.
