Fabien Cousteau, the grandson of the famous ocean explorer and filmmaker Jacques Cousteau plans to make a presentation Tuesday in Oklahoma City. It will also be his plea to save the oceans of the world.

Cousteau will appear at Oklahoma City University’s Petree Recital Hall to present “One Ocean, One People.”

He considers the ocean his office and home and the “passion that recharges my batteries.”

“–whether we’re on the ocean front or 1000 miles away from the ocean, what happens in our ocean world is crucially important to our very own survival.”

Cousteau says humanity has used the ocean for an endless resource for decades but now might want to rethink its approach.

His presentation will be free to the public and starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
