Tulsa-based Williams announced a dividend of 38 cents a share.
The board of directors approved the share on the company’s common stock payable on Sept. 30,2019 to holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 13, 2019. The annualized dividend will be $1.52.
This is an 11.8% increase from Williams’ third-quarter 2018 quarterly dividend of $0.34 per share, paid in September 2018.
Williams expects approximately 97% of this dividend to be a return of capital. The company has paid a common stock dividend every quarter since 1974.
