SEC rules against frack-mining operator

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has ordered abandoned an effort by the frack-mining company Vista Proppants and Logistics to register securities in the company.

Vista Proppants filed a Form S-1 prospectus in 2018 and failed to act on the proposal.

In a decision in July 2019, the SEC stated, “The registration statement has been on file for more than nine months and has not yet become effective.”

The SEC indicated Vista Proppants and Logistics failed to respond to notice that the registration statement would be declared abandoned unless it was amended or withdrawn.

” In view of the foregoing, it is ORDERED that the registration statement be declared abandoned on July 2, 2019,” stated the filing by the SEC.
