Ten completion reports were filed this week by Oklahoma City-based Chaparral Energy—5 each in Canadian and Garfield counties.
Its best venture proved to be two wells drilled on the same pad located about a mile west of Yukon’s C.E. Page Airport located south of Interstate 40. Drilled at 28 12N 6W, the Andres 1206 wells had spud dates in July 2018 and completions made in October of 2018. One well had production of 477 barrels of oil a day while the second produced 445 barrels of oil a day.
Chaparral’s efforts in Garfield County didn’t prove so successful. One pad with two wells near Waukomis had combined production of 62 barrels of oil a day.
