One person was injured Tuesday when workers struck a pipeline near the Grady county town of Alex.
The injured person was rushed to a local hospital but it’s not known how badly injured the worker was.
The Chickasha Express-Star reported the Grady County Fire department extinguished some fire burning around the explosion site. It quoted District Fire Chief Buddy Meyers as indicating the fire would be allowed to burn itself out after the pipeline operator was shutting down the flow of gas.
