2,000 barrels of oil a day plus wells brought in by Marathon Petroleum in Oklahoma’s STACK

Two of the largest wells in the STACK to be reported in a few months have been brought in by Houston’s Marathon Petroleum, the largest with production of more than 2,500 barrels of oil a day.

Both were drilled on the same pad located at 27 17N 10W or about 5 miles southeast of the Blaine county town of Hitchcock or 3 miles northwest of the Lomega High school.

The Olive June 1710 3-22-15mxh was the largest with production of 2,519 barrels of oil daily along with gas production of 2,564 Mcf.  Its spud date was in September 2018 and drilling was finished in December of that year. Completion was made Feb. 16, 2019.

The well had a total depth of 19,926 feet and 475,126 barrels of fluid and 25,725,957 pounds of proppant were used according to a completion report filed this week.

The second well was the Olive June 1710 4-22-15mxh which had production of 2,123 barrels of oil a day along with 2,427 Mcf of natural gas.

Completion records show the well had initial production of 2,123 barrels of oil a day along with 2,427 Mcf of natural gas. The spud date was in September of 2018 and drilling was finished in November 2018. Completion was made Feb. 20, 2019 at a total depth of 20,097 feet.

Records reflect the driller used 430,977 barrels of fluid along with 25,426,344 pounds of proppant.
