Newfield Exploration files more completion reports with two more large producers in STACK

 

Newfield Exploration flooded the Corporation Commission office with another 12 completion reports on Monday including two wells with more than 1,000 Boed production each.

The Houston, Texas company filed six more in Blaine County, 5 in Kingfisher county and one in Canadian County, all counties that make up the prosperous STACK play in Oklahoma.

The two highest producing wells were multi-wells at a single pad located at 10 16N 10W in Blaine County. The Quintle 6-10-3xhm had initial production of 1,096 Boed and gas production totaling 2,263 Mcf. Records show it had a spud date in June 2018. Drilling was finished in December and completion followed in the same month.

The Quintle 5-10-3xhm had production of 1,108 Boed along with 2,304 Mcf of natural gas. The records showed it was drilled in June of 2018 and drilling finished in December, the same month that completion was made.

Both wells are located midway between Kingfisher and Watonga, north of State highway 33 and near the Lomega high school.

A list of completion reports filed on Friday showed 7 Newfield wells had been completed in Blaine and Canadian counties. (See OK Energy Today.)
