Shares acquired by Chesapeake Energy executives

Chesapeake Energy’s chairman emeritus Archie Dunham wasn’t the only company leader to pick up shares this week.

While Dunham acquired more than 1,000,000 shares, three others made large acquisitions as well.

CEO Robert D. Lawler acquired 100,000 more shares, according to a Form 4 filing that Chesapeake Energy made this week with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Frank J. Patterson, the company’s Executive Vice President of Exploration and Production acquired 80,000 shares.

Domenic J. Dell’Osso Junior, who is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer made an acquisition of 50,000 more shares, according to the filing.
