Illegal dumping under investigation by DEQ

An illegal dumping case has the attention of the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.

It happened in Oklahoma City where 16 55-gallon drums containing unidentified liquids were dumped at a property located at 3400 NE 4 street in Oklahoma. DEQ investigators believe the drums were dumped no Nov. 21 and found the next morning.

The Department stated that the samples of the materials found in the drums were collected and sent to the State Environmental Laboratory for analysis. Investigators are following up on several leads from the evidence they gathered at the scene.
