Oil and gas group in Oklahoma thanks Pruitt for his work at EPA

The oldest energy trade group in the U.S., the Oklahoma Oil and Gas Association said Scott Pruitt should be applauded for the work he did at the Environmental Protection Agency.

In response to Pruitt’s resignation following months of ethics scandals, OKOGA President Chad Warmington praised Pruitt for returning the EPA to following the law and boundaries set out by Congress.

“ He should be applauded for restoring a common-sense approach to one of our nation’s most important regulatory bodies. He gave the oil and natural gas industry an appropriate seat at the table during consideration of important regulations that dramatically affect energy production. We sincerely appreciate Administrator Pruitt’s service to our country.”
