More Drilling Plans Revealed for Oklahoma’s STACK

Oil and gas exploration companies offer no letup in the interest in Oklahoma’s STACK as indicated by the latest reports on file with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.

As shown by OK Energy Today’s Permits to Drill reports, Kingfisher county will be the site of another 20 drilling sites.  A dozen of the permits went to Houston-based Newfield Exploration while five were handed out to Oklahoma Energy Acquisitions.

As for completion reports, they reflect a strong well hit by Marathon Oil Company in Blaine County. Production on the Roser 1611 1-3-34MXH well was listed at 1,089 barrels of oil a day.  The well, completed in January is about 4.5 miles northeast of Watonga and its legal listing is at 3-16N 13W.

At least 35 completion reports were filed for Kingfisher county and 34 were made by Fullspike Energy, an exploration company headquartered in Arlington, Texas.

The largest well produced 200 boed.
