Anadarko Basin has its share of DUCs

The Permian Basin isn’t the only oil and gas sector where the number of drilled but uncompleted wells is an issue.

The Anadarko basin in Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle have also experienced high numbers of unfracked wells although there was a slight drop in the numbers from April 2018 to May 2018.

The U.S. Energy Information Agency reported 921 drilled but uncompleted wells in the Anadarko Basin in April but the number had slipped to 913.

New well oil production per rig in the Anadarko totaled 414 barrels a day so far in June 2018 and it is expected to increase to 417 in July.  New well gas production per rig was 2,832 Mcf a day in June and could increase to 2,855 Mcf a day in July.

As for oil production, the Anadarko Basin averaged 539 thousand barrels a day for June and it is expected to grow to 549 thousand a day in July. Natural gas production was 6,799 million cubic feet a day for June.
