Oklahoma City-based White Star Petroleum LLC has announced the $5.2 million sale of an office building, equipment yard and parking lot in Stillwater.
The sale was to J and R Investments. The 17-acre site is northwest of the campus of Oklahoma State University.
White Star, formerly known as American Energy Partners, will stay the tenant and lease back the property which is considered the company’s central northern Oklahoma field office.
The sale follows White Star’s acquisition earlier in the year of more than 30,000 net acres in the Mid-Continent regions. It bought the land from Double Eagle Energy Oklahoma LLC and the equity holders of Lighthouse Oil and Gas LP. White Star also said at the time it had sign an agreement to acquire another 18,500 net acres from Sundance Energy, Inc.
