Tulsa-based New Dominion recently won a judge’s decision to move one of its earthquake-related lawsuits from Oklahoma to New York.

The energy company, sued for the 2011 earthquake in Prague turned around and filed suit last spring in Tulsa against Lloyd’s of London, trying to force the insurer to pay for property damage. Dominion argued the laws of New York apply and any litigation will take place in New York, according to a recent report in the Enid News and Eagle.

The decision to move the case to New York was approved by a federal judge in New York in September.
