REMINDER – PETROLEUM STORAGE TANK DIVISION ANNUAL TANK PERMIT FEES
This is an important reminder that the annual tank permit fees are due May 29, 2026. Failure to pay by the due date will result in a second invoice with a late fee to be issued June 1, 2026.
The annual tank permit at your facility will expire on June 30, 2026. Title 165: 5-3-1 ( 5) ( C ) of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) rules states “Owners of regulated petroleum storage tanks, whether in use or not, are required to pay an annual permit fee”. Failure to pay the annual tank permit fee can result in system shutdown or fines.
On July 1, 2026, your PST Fuel Specialist will begin visiting facilities that have not paid their annual tank fees. They will proceed with the shutdown of your tank system for non-payment of tank fees and operating a storage tank system without a valid tank permit.
For copies of tank registration invoices, you may access the Petroleum Storage Tank Portal at https://apps.occ.ok.gov/pstportal and request access to the Public Imaging section. The annual tank permit fees may be paid online at https://pay.public.occ.ok.gov/invoice-payment. The invoice number from the invoice is required.
Please note – PST Fuel Specialists will no longer collect annual tank permit fees on site at the facility. Tank fees must be paid in advance to avoid system shutdown.
You may call the Petroleum Storage Tank Division at 405-521-4683 with questions regarding annual tank permit fees.
