Nearly all of the thousands of PSO and OGE customers who lost electrical power in this week’s severe weather have the lights back on in their homes and businesses.
The storms produced at least six tornadoes across the state and the damage included downed power lines and poles and damage to cross arms and other equipment.
Oklahoma Gas and Electric reports the last of the firm’s customers who lost power in this week’s severe weather have had electrical power restored.
Christi Woodworth, Vice President of Marketing & Communications for OGE reported 127 workers from other out of state companies helped restore the power lost to several thousand customers.
Public Service Company also had a few thousand customers without power as of Wednesday morning. By Thursday, about 8 customers in the Tulsa and Weatherford areas did not have power.
