It promises to be a rainy week across much of Oklahoma. Cool too.
“We’ll see chances for some strong-to-severe storms, but not bigtime May severe weather like we’ve seen in the past,” declared Oklahoma Mesonet Climatologist Gary McManus in his Monday weather update.
As for Wednesday’s storm chances?

While the chances of severe weather are low, there is an increased probability of more flooding in the state.

“Now, the saddest news of all (other than the soggy Pop-Tarts remark): I see no high temperatures above 80 degrees for the 7 days. It’s time to let the gorilla win,” explained McManus.
