An Oklahoma man is grabbing headlines over the extent he went to in order to get a Chinese electric car even though the cars are not sold in the U.S.
A recent article by WIRED indicated John Karlin drove eight hours from Oklahoma City to Freeport, Texas to lay his hands on the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV.
The vehicle was shipped across the sea and Karlin believes he might have been the first American to import the vehicle model to the U.S.
