After earnings of more than $1 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, NextEra Energy plans to unveil its first quarter 2025 results next week.
The Florida firm, with heavy commitments in Oklahoma’s wind and solar industry, will release the results before the opening of the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in a news release to be posted on the company’s website at www.NextEraEnergy.com/FinancialResults.
The company will issue an advisory news release over PR Newswire the morning of April 23, with a link to the financial results news release on the company’s website. As previously communicated, the company will make available its financial results only on its website.
John Ketchum, chairman, president and chief executive officer of NextEra Energy, Brian Bolster, executive vice president, finance and chief financial officer of NextEra Energy, and other members of the company’s senior management team will discuss the company’s first-quarter 2025 financial results during an investor presentation to be webcast live, beginning at 9 a.m. ET on April 23.
When NextEra said 2024 was an “excellent” year, it wasn’t stretching things. Its fourth quarter net income was $1.203 billion or 58 cents a share. Earnings on an adjusted basis totaled $1.095 billion or 53 cents a share. For the full year 2024, NextEra Energy reported net income of $6.9 billion or $3.37 a share and adjusted earnings were $7.063 billion or $3.43 per share.
