Among the 41 bills signed into law this week by New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was one to give the state more funding power for green energy projects in small communities and to help utilities.
One measure, House Bill 128 establishes a $20 million dollar fund to provide grants for solar energy and battery storage for tribal, rural and low-income schools, municipalities and counties.
