Regulators held another non-public meeting

Oklahoma Corporation Commissioners held another non-public meeting on Monday where they met with staff to discuss the impact of bills in the legislature and received staffing updates.

All three commissioners, Kim David, Todd Hiett and Brian Bingman were on hand, according to the Open Meeting Act Exempt form filed on the Corporation Commission website.

The legislative update included discussion on HB2603, HB2747, SB998 and HB1662. Commissioners received an update from Brandy Wreath, Director of Administration on recent changes to the Oil and Gas Division’s organization structure and his search to hire a new Division Director.

Other discussion was held regarding expenditures, budget, staffing and salary adjustments. There was also an update on the Oklahoma Universal DFDund/Special Universal Services FY2023 performance audit.

The law allowing commissioners to meet without notifying the public went into effect in November of 2024.
