Helped by a weaker dollar, oil prices gained in Tuesday’s trading. But they were also slowed by growing worries over a U.S. economic slowdown and the impacts of President Trump’s tariffs.
Brent crude finished up 64 cents or 0.92% at $69.92 a barrel after slipping to as low as $68.63 earlier in the trading day.
West Texas Intermediate crude managed a 22 cent or 0.3% gain to settle at $66.25 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Natural gas down 0.04 at $4.45 – change 0.85%
Most Oklahoma energy stocks finished Tuesday with gains including 4% jumps for Mammoth Energy Services and Matrix Service Co.
