Remember those violent 2016 protests by Indian tribes and environmentalists against the Dakota Access pipeline?
After pipeline owner, Energy Transfer sued Greenpeace for $300 million accusing it over its role in organizing the protests, Greenpeace recently countered sued in Europe. The Associated Press recently reported Greenpeace filed an anti-intimidation case which is considered a first test of a new European Union directive to counter manifestly unfounded cases aimed at harassing civil society.
