Crude supplies dipped across the U.S. but grew at the Cushing Hub

 

The nation’s crude oil stocks dipped more than 2 million barrels ast of the week of Feb. 21 according to the federal government. But a gain was recorded at Oklahoma’s Cushing Hub.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported stocks totaled 430.2 million barrels in the most recent reporting week, down from 432.5 million as of the week of Feb. 14, 2025. However, the nation’s supply of crude oil is still 6.3 million barrels higgher than Jan. 31 when they totaled 423.9 million barrels.

The Cushing Hub in northern Oklahoma continued with its increase in crude oil. It gained 1.3 million barrels, moving from 23.3 million barrels on Feb. 14 to 24.6 million barrels the week of Feb. 21, 2025. Cushing has seen a gain of 2.8 million barrels since the last day of January when it held 20.9 million barrels.
