Supreme Court won’t block blue state climate lawsuits against oil and gas industry

The U.S. Supreme won’t hear the appeals of major oil and gas producers challenging lawsuits from California and other blue states who want billions in damages over climate change.

The justices turned down the appeals of firms such as Sunoco, Shell and others who are trying to block the lawsuits.
