Bingman to take office Monday as newest Corporation Commissioner

On Monday, the Oklahoma Corporation Commission will see a new makeup as Brian Bingman, who won the general election in November of 2024, will be sworn into office succeeding Bob Anthony.

Bingman will take the oath of office administered by Supreme Court Vice-Chief Justice Dana Kuehn during a ceremony at the State Capitol. The ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. in the Oklahoma Supreme Court Ceremonial Courtroom.

Bingman, the former Senate President Pro-Tempore won the election with 63.67% of the votes or 979,801 out of the total of 1,538,795 votes cast in the election.

He defeated Democrat Harold Spradling who received 28.90% or 444,736 votes and Libertarian Chad Williams whose total was 7.43% or 114,257 votes.
