Biden’s mandated EV charging network funding—what will happen in a Trump administration?

As Oklahoma’s State Transportation Commission prepares this week to spend more than $1 million on creating the government-mandated EV charging network on state highways and turnpikes, there is growing discussion how the $7.5 billion in grant funding from the Biden administration will fare in a second Donald Trump administration.

Just as the Oklahoma Transportation Commission prepares for its first EV action, it should be remembered the billions in EV charging has been slow. POLITICO reminded us that only a few dozen chargers were brought online since the bipartisan infrastructure law was signed three years ago on Friday.
