After recording a nearly 8% drop in total revenues in its second quarter, Tulsa-based Alliance Resource Partners, L..P. prepares to unveil its third quarter 2024 financial results.
One of the largest coal-operating companies in the U.S., Alliance will report the results before the market opens on Monday, Oct. 28. Company management will hold a conference call at 9 a.m. central time on the same day.
In late July at the end of the second quarter, Alliance announced total revenues in the 2024 Quarter decreased 7.6% to $593.4 million compared to $641.8 million for the 2023 Quarter primarily as a result of reduced coal sales volumes. The company said the amount of coal sales declined 11.8% primarily due to transportation delays.
However, the company’s investments in oil and gas operations over the past several years paid off. It reported that the drop in coal sales was partiallyl offset by the higher oil and gas royalties and revenues.
