Crude prices reversed losing trend Wednesday but OK energy stocks had a bad day

Crude oil prices might have reversed its three consecutive trading sessions of losses with small gains on Wednesday, but Oklahoma energy stocks had a bad day in trading.

Falling US crude inventories sparked some of the oil increases but so did growing supply riskes from Canadian wildfires, according to Reuters, as prices remained close to their month and a half lows.

Brent crude? It rose 0.41% and finished at $81.33 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.

Definitely, it was a day of losses for most Oklahoma energy stocks including a 3% drop for Chesapeake Energy, 4% decline recorded by Gulfport Energy and 5% for Matrix Energy Services.

Other energy stocks also recorded losses, according to the Texas Energy Report.
