2Q earnings to be released by ALLETE Inc.

 

ALLETE Inc., the Minnesota-based company with wind farms in Oklahoma plans to release its second quarter earnings report before the stock market opens on Thursday, August 1.

Its subsidiary, ALLETE Clean Energy runs the wind farms and is onee of a handful of companies owned by the parent energy company.

In addition to its electric utilities, Minnesota Power and Superior Water, Light and Power of Wisconsin, ALLETE owns BNI Energy in Bismarck, N.D.; and New Energy Equity, headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland; and has an 8% equity interest in the American Transmission Co.

ALLETE’s first quarter 2024 earnings were 88 cents a share on $50.7 million in net income. The totals were down from the first quarter reports a year earlier when they totaled $1.02 per share and $58.2 million in net income.

The company’s wind farms are the Caddo farm in western Oklahoma and the Diamond Spring farm in southern Oklahoma.
