Toyota is closing one of its auto parts factories located in Arkansas.

As reported by Arkansas Business, Hino Motors, a subsidiary of Toyota plans to close the plant in Marion and it will eventually put 1,300 people out of worker.

Hino explained it had an operating loss last year of $189 million and made the decision to withdraw from the business. Instead, it will focus on commercial trucks.

The plant opened in 2006, originally to manufacture axles for Toyota vehicles in the 563,000 square foot plant. Now it will close by the end of 2027.
