Demand for electric vehicles in the U.S. has slowed so much that Ford’s new West Tennessee factory is delaying production until 2026.
The much-ballyhooed plant was originally intended to begin production of Ford’s F-150 Lightning electrick pickup truck in 2025. But the company revealed full production is being delayed.
The Tennessee Lookout reported Ford admitted new EV trucks won’t be delivered to dealers until 2026.
