The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has adopted a new rule to increase the nation’s energy capacity to meet a rapidly growing demand. Utilities and regional grid must work together to create 20-year plans to death with that growth.
The FERC says the country’s “aging grid is being tested in ways … never seen before.”
