Special meeting of regulators with oil and gas personnel

 

 

Oklahoma Corporation Commissioners will hold another special meeting on Wednesday with the state’s oil and gas industry to get more input on storage regulations and issues.

The commission’s Petroleum Storage Tank Division will hold the roundtable disccussion and the state’s three Corporation Commissioners might attend. The roundtable’s purpose is to engage industry stakeholders in a conversation about the rules and any possible need for improvements or changes in them.

The Division will decide if it should be necessary to make such changes. There will also be a discussion on the implementation of licensed testers and a new optional testing form. Discussion will also be held for variances on aging storage tanks and piping.

The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. in the Concourse Theater, suite C50 of the Will Rogers Memorial Office building, 2401 North Lincoln Boulevard.
