Crude stocks tumbled at Cushing Hub and the U.S.

 

Crude oil inventories across the U.S. and including at the Cushing Hub in Oklahoma fell over the past week.

The U.S. stocks, according to to the U.S. Energy Information Administration fell more than 6 million barrels. The fall was from 460 million barrels reported on April 12 to 453.6 million barrels on April 19, a decline of 6.4 million barrels.

The latest inventory of 453.6b million barrels compared to 460.9 million barrels recorded a year ago, according to the EIA.

Cushing stocks dropped 600,000 barrels from 33 million barrels on April 12 to 32.4 million barrels as of April 19. The oil hub held 31.5 million barrels in early March and 31.1 million barrels as of one year ago.
