Crude oil prices made more gains on Friday to settle at $91 a barrel

Crude oil prices finished the week with a more than $1 a barrel gain as investors wondered whether the fighting in Gaza and unrest throughout the Middle East might result in tighter supplies. World prices reached $91.

Global benchmark Brent crude finished up 51 cents or 0.57% at $91.17 a barrel on  ICE Futures Europe.

The US benchmark, West Texas Intermediate crude, rose 32 cents or 0.37% to close at $86.91 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

May natural gas rose 2 cents to $1.79 per 1,000 cubic feet.

Friday proved to be a strong day in trading for some Oklahoma energy stocks. Empire Petroleum had a more than 5% gain followed by 4% for Vital Energy and 3% for NGL Energy Partners.

Other energy stocks recorded gains for the day, according to the Texas Energy Report.

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) down 0.04 at 29.73 – change 0.14%

EOG Resources (EOG) up 1.91 at 135.94 – change 1.42%

Exxon Mobil (XOM) up 1.65 at 121.37 – change 1.37%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) up 0.03 at 18.46 – change 0.16%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) up 0.21 at 29.69 – change 0.71%

NOV Inc. (NOV) up 0.45 at 20.51 – change 2.24%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) up 1.62 at 69.25 – change 2.39%

Phillips 66 (PSX) up 0.07 at 170.75 – change 0.04%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) up 2.94 at 272.77 – change 1.08%

Tellurian Inc. (TELL) up 0.03 at 0.56 – change 3.76%

Valero (VLO) up 2.78 at 183.39 – change 1.53%
