Arkansas legislators wrestle with complaints of crypto mining activities

Arkansas legislators who are worried about the noise and demand for electricity in cyrpto mining launched a series of bills this week to focus on their concerns.

The bills came as a result of complaints from rural Arkansas communities faced with the loud noise, high water and electricity use from the digital assets ventures. Some of their complaints came after the state legislature approved a measure last year preventing local governments from passing noise and zoning ordinances against crypto mines.
