Fort Worth plant capitalizes off demand for EV chargers

New electric vehicle chargers are on display at the LG electric vehicle charging factory in Fort Worth.

The first LG factory in the U.S. of its kind is busy in Fort Worth, home to LG Electronics which switched from making household electronics and cell phones to manufacturing electric vehicle chargers.

New EV chargers are made there and shipped across the country. As the Biden administration pours more and more money into the spread of electric vehicles and the chargers needed to power them, LG Electronics is busier than ever. Executives of the company anticipate the demand for EV chargers across the country will mean even more business in the coming years.
