Crude oil prices held steady while natural gas dropped again on Monday

Not much change in crude oil prices occurred in Monday’s trading investors weren’t as nervous over the fighting in the Middle East and how it might affect supply. Chinese data suggested a weak demand and U.S. refining saw an increase in production. Natural gas took another tumble.
West Texas Intermediate crude, the U.S. benchmark, fell 8 cents and settled at $77.93 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Brent futures, the global benchmark, gained 13 cents to close for the day at $82.21 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.

April natural gas fell 5 cents to $1.76 per 1,000 cubic feet.

Monday brought another mixed day of trading for Oklahoma energy stocks.  While Ovintiv rose a strong 2%, SandRidge Energy fell nearly 3.5%.
