After a third quarter where net income and operating income improved for ONE Gas, the company’s investors will learn in a few weeks whether the improvements continued in the fourth quarter.
ONE Gas plans to release its fourth quarter and full year 2023 financial results after the market closes on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024.
The ONE Gas executive management team will participate in a conference call the following day, Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (10 a.m. Central Standard Time).
The call also will be carried live on the ONE Gas website.
In the third quarter when results were released in November of 2023, net income rose to $25.2 million or 45 cents a share compared to a year earlier when it was $23.7 million and 44 cents a share.
ONE Gas reported operating income of $57.2 million in the third quarter 2023, compared with $47.1 million in the third quarter 2022, which primarily reflects:
- an increase of $14.6 million from new rates; and
- an increase of $2.3 million due to lower outside service costs.
Year-to-date 2023 net income was $160.5 million, or $2.87 per diluted share, compared with $154.7 million, or $2.85 per diluted share, in the same period last year.
