Tulsa’s Unit Corporation issued an explanation how it intends to make payments on three fourth-quarter dividends as it previously announced this month.
Each of the three dividends will be paid on December 27 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on December 18, 2023.
In an announcement, Unit clarified that since the Dividends in aggregate constitute more than 25% of the closing price of the Company’s common stock on December 11, 2023, per FINRA or Financial Industry Regulatory Authority rules, the ex-dividend date for the Dividends will be December 28, 2023, the first business day following the payment date.
Shareholders who wish to receive the Dividends must hold their Unit shares until the ex-dividend date.
