Oklahoma women in aviation and aerospace will be honored this week by the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics along with several aviation-afilliated groups.
Joining the Department in observing Friday as the special day for women will be the 137th Special Operations Wing of the Oklahoma National Guard, the Will Rogers World Airport, the Oklahoma Air and Space Forces Association, the Oklahoma Defense Industry Association and United Dynamics Aerospace and Defense.
It will be the seventh year for the special day and an in-person luncheon will be held Friday at the 137th Special Operations Wing located at the Oklahoma National Guard base.
