Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is ready to take on the Biden administration over its  proposed federal land oil and gas drilling rules, rules she wants to stop.

She’s introduced a bill to prevent the Bureau of Land Management from implementing a rule to raise bonding levels on millions of acres in Colorado and restrict oil land gas leasing on federal lands.

Boebert’s legislation is the Restoring American Energy Dominance Act and would prevent the BLM from passing the proposed rule and other similar rules. The proposed BLM rule would change fees, rents and royalties as part of the Inflation Reduction Act.

The BLM also wants to prevent orphan or abandoned wells on federal lands and use bonds for well plugging.
