Members of the United Steelworkers union don’t like the way they are being treated at the Phillips 66 Company offices in Ponca City and picketed the place on Wednesday.
About 70 members of the Steelworkers Local 13-857 carried signs and expressed their conceerns that clerks are being forced to cover extra workloads. It was described as an “informational picket line” rather than a work stoppage.
Some picketers held signs that declared “We Stand with Our Clerks” and “Clerks Make the Refinery Go Round,” reported KOKH Fox 25 News.
